Re: OpenDTG Pre-Treater Build

I adjusted the spray height to 7 1/2" from 8 /2" and that seems to be the perfect height for an 18" wide platen.
Now on to building the spray enclosure.

Re: OpenDTG Pre-Treater Build

On code line 215 I upped the step from 6400 to 11400 which gave me 18" of spray length.  Now I just need to lower the height of my spray nozzle.  It's currently at 8 1/2 above the platen and is spraying beyond each side of the platen by a couple of inches.  The platen is 18" wide so the sp...

Re: OpenDTG Pre-Treater Build

OK, so I got my pretreater up and running on the first try now I just need to tweak a few things! First off, priming the pump is a bit of a pain and I'm wondering what is the best way that will not use a lot of pretreat solution.   I'm just using water at this point to dial things in but would like ...

Re: tshirt ready to print

Just took a look at their website.  So it's $4/shirt in black and white if you order at least a dozen (less if you order larger quantities).  They make their own shirts and will not pretreat other brands.   They mention the pretreat last up to a year but recommend using the shirt ASAP.   They ship t...

Re: Stepper driver overheating

I would use a 23 stepper (that's what I did) with a 30 tooth pulley, although I don't see why  a 17 would overheat.  I used both didn't have an overheating problem with either.  How big and heavy is your platen?

Re: P600 Waste Tank Reset Issue

As an update, I just bought EKprint Studio and it has a "Waste Pad Counter Reset" as one of its utilities.  I just had to use it and it works!

Re: Print Purge After Damper Conversion...

Re: Heed help!!

Best bet would be to first take a look at the P600 service manual.

Here's the service manual I have for the P600.

Other than that maybe Andy can do a video in his spare time.  ;)
