I don't think there is a step by step guide to build a pretreater anywhere on the internet. If you are a serious builder and want to complete a build then the only option is to buy Andys kit from the store . This will give you the best head start as you will have support from the forum. This can done with the p600 . Check out this link ,it's the TastyJet from Resolute it uses a different printer though but still a epson. ;)

I think it would require a code change to use a different set up as the timings would be off? If its a new T-Dozer stepper motor you are after PM me and i can send you a link on where to get it.

Andy is right if the stepper is running slow you can get that vibration you see in your video. Does it happen at the same point every time? What board are you using to control the printer ?

Hard to tell by the video but it looks to me to be a problem with your platen system. If you disconnect the belt from the motor does your platen move back and forth smoothly?

Can you get a video up of the stepper, I think it would help us diagnose the problem better.
