Re: OpenDTG Pretreater Control Board

The solenoid works well. Not sure how long it will last, but it does work. The assembly does drip a little bit after shutoff sometimes. Not enough for me to worry about it tho. Take the nozzle off and do a purge to flush the air out of the lines. If I have air in the lines I get a trailing off of d...

Re: OpenDTG Pretreater Control Board

How is that solenoid working out? The ones I get work great but are $110 ish. I've seen those like you have for cheap on amazon. I notice a much more even spray with a 100 psi pump vs 60 psi, also its better (I think you do) if you have a decent amount of line between the pump and solenoid. If you g...

Re: OpenDTG Pretreater Control Board

One recommendation I would add is to turn off the motor when it is resting at the front. Similar to the DTG code. Not sure if I could just copy that part from the dtg code, or if there would be a more specific way to do it. That is a good idea so it doesn't get hot.  // Motor Off digitalWrite(motor...

Yes, but can I tighten that white plastic screw too hard? Is that it? How do I know when I have it right?

If  you don't get the capping station and gears back in the original spot you can have issues.

Re: Paper error Epson 3800

I tried that but it throws PW sensor error on startup when I turn printer on. Thats why I used aluminum tape and it passed initial startup. Than I removed it completely and it  passed initial startup next time I turned printer on. But now it gives me paper error just when is about to print. How I c...

Re: Trying to print with ekrip

Can it be something holding the print head back somehow so its not able to move? Something I do wrong when I lock it with the plastic screw thingy maybe? I'm just supposed to move it back and then rotate it until I cannot move the head anymore, right? Yes that is most likely.  You can see that the ...
