Re: AIO board questions + leadscrew driven systems

For the motor current. Opposite of what you have. 0 is down and 1 is up.

The 2pass button is for a toggle switch to select if the shirt platen will automatically go back in for a 2nd time.

Bstop is for the back limit switch.

3. Yes you will have to change those.

Re: Ok - simple question - why use the Arduino at all?

Using the Arduino electronics or other custom electronics allows you to build a more reliable and solid machine. Without using any external electronics a DIY builder has to rely on power of the small epson paper feed motor and use friction between the paper feed roller and their shirt platen. Any sl...

Re: Heed help!!

At that point it is probably easier and less likely to damage something to just replace the whole printer. Why steal all of those parts off of a good printer to put into a used one.

Re: 1430 build with complete kit

OK so I have been trying with plug in and making the switch move manually, getting closer but I am still missing some combination of open close on the control board two inputs. Any suggestions? When I get this I will document my build for others, this was fun until I got to this last step. 1FCckfbE...

That is the windows error I am getting, but I think it's because it reads an error from the printer. Can I swap a mother board from an Epson r3000 without issues?

The danger in swapping mainboards is if you have a wiring issue that damaged something your are risking damage to the new mainboard.

Re: help error stuck paper p/600

What size is the print template in the RIP?

The code is setup for roughly 18 inch long print area. If your file is longer than that it can cause issues.

Re: DIY R3000 Complete Build - With documentation

I began the disassembly following the UFOprinter tutorial. Please, can you tell me if I need that piece if I'll use the AIO board? IMG_20170517_165812.jpg IMG_20170517_165716.jpg I also began the construction of the Platen System. IMG_20170517_170659.jpg You will need that paper feed roller but cut...

Hi Andy,

I have the adjustment program, but it won't read it because the printer won't boot fully.

Does it give you an error code on the screen?
Typically even if the printer doesn't fully boot but it goes to an error screen the adjustment program still can pull the code.
