Since I haven't been using the last 4 channels, they're just filled with cmyk, I didn't even notice my black and yellow channels are out. I can see the ink and bubbles moving in the lines when doing head cleans, so I know the the head isn't  clogged. I'm not sure how the pressurized systems work, m...

Hi Shabby, i am wondering how is your registration. If you try to print same image on same spot. Do you get perfect every time or its off. I think this code the way it is doesnt work on 3800. I was trying with proximity switch and it looks like platen hits the switch then bounce of the switch than ...

I dont know if I set it up correctly. For the back stop I am using proximity sensor because I thought it will be more accurate than just a switch. My stepper factor is 25.7. I dont know if this makes the difference since I added decimal. Also I lowered stepper factor and I realized after reading fo...

Finally I am getting somwhere with this Epson 3800. I wanna place this post because my previous posts maybe misleading. I think my priblem all along was platenEncoder. I didnt know it was so important. So instead of stepper position i kept original code. My pemin is 7000 and pemax 7500. Pe sensor v...

So what do you think I should do because if I dont put wider range I keep getting paper eror often. It seems that only thing it helped was setting PEmin to 6000 and PEmax to 7500 I'm not sure. Without having a 3880 I have no way of knowing the stock timing. Hey Andy,  What  is the procedure for fig...

I tried that but it throws PW sensor error on startup when I turn printer on. Thats why I used aluminum tape and it passed initial startup. Than I removed it completely and it  passed initial startup next time I turned printer on. But now it gives me paper error just when is about to print. How I c...
