I"m having problems printing with AcroRip. After print job is sent, platen moves foward but printing does not start and gives an error. Paper size is set to 300mm x 450mm in program. Anyone have setting for acrorip 8.2.6?

In Ekprint Studios, I can get it to print but doesn't finish and gives an error. Table size is set to standard(317x406)

my platen size is 12x16.5

#define platenEncoder 180000L //For Epson 1430 - shared by randyb123

// R3000 and P600 PE sensor Settings
const int peMinEncoder = 6000; // MIN:
const int peMaxEncoder = 6500; // MAX:

Update:

Illustrator prints fine with the Epson drivers.no errors set to print a3 and borders

Ekprint prints fine with ekprint drivers for 1430. No Errors

AcroRip 8.2.6 still gets a paper jam error. Stops before printing. Platen set to( A3)11.7 x16.5. Used the 1390/1400 printer prest and the 1400 preset

Platen encoder 115000
Pemin/max 6000,6500.

I assume these setting are correct cause it's printing on the other two and not acro. It might be AcroRip itself that I purchased from eBay.

in Acro there are several settings.
paper size and output size in layout.
Also there is printout-size revision which neds to be 300mm and 500mm.
Other than that and print resolution I cant offer much help as Acro is new to me.

What is your stepperfactor set to?
I have just tried to adjust my settings to get a higher stepper ratio and when using Acrorip it didn't like it when I had a stepperfactor that wasnt a whole number.
I tried it with 5.75 and 5.5
It started to print the first few lines and just stopped dead.
I have lowered the steps from 800 to 400 and a stepper factor of 11 and it prints fine.

I can't find much information but it looks like it could be down to driver issues for your printer with acrorip.
I have seen it mentioned that 8.2.7 includes support for the 1430.
Also some comment about don't update the printer firmware and only use wi-fi connection not usb. I can't see how using wi-fi would make a difference unless it's down to the usb driver.

I've gotten a hold of a stock 1430 with 8.2.8 and it prints fine with usb. so its not a driver issue.
gotta play around with the values more.
