Hello
i have order a new epson printhead code F196030 ( i know that this is for the p600)
the seller in germany says that is ok for the r3000 as well which is F196010..

anyway i installed it , printer starts , makes the cleaning cycle and when it is time to fire ink on the pad it gives error 42h.
i know that the error is:
X-Hot detection error (before flushing).

Just to verify that the printer is ok (mainboard, cables ) i installed the old printhead and is booting ok..
i replaced the old one with the new one tree times..
with the old one the printer always boots ok 100%
with the new one i always get that error
so it is hard for me to say that i fried up the new one.
i have another one that is clogged and i installed that also and the printer boots ok in ready position..

now my thought is that maybe the F196030 is not compatible for the r3000 as the seller claims?

does anybody used the F196030 on the r3000?

thanks

what did you do to the removed printhead?

i mean after flushing and cleaning? you just leave it and it will be ok when you need it?

thanks
