Couple questions:

Can I use a 12V pump with this board?

Is presale still available?

Thank you!

Yes you can if you use a 12v power supply, keep in mind that also means the motor driver and solenoid only runs on 12v too.
I chose 24v pump and solenoid so I could run the motor driver at the higher voltage.
Yes the presale is still probably for this week. I did a couple minor updates to the boards and the new ones are coming in this week, then it will be in the online store at full price.

What is the benefit of the motor running at 24 volts?

You get more torque out of the motor so if you are moving a heavy platen system it will help.

I've done some tests and there is a noticeable difference.

I received my pre-treater kit and am wondering what's the optimum height from the platen to the spray nozzle?

Other than that it seems pretty straight forward.

Thanks,

Dave

Kind of depends on how wide you want the spray. My test one is about 7 1/4 inches.
If possible build in some adjustment. Also, if you want to spray 13 inches wide its helpful to make a 16 inch wide platen to catch some of the overspray.
