- Wipe around edges of printhead
- Head clean and Print Nozzle check
- Clean encoder strip
- Clean encoder wheel
Keep the room temperature between 70 - 78 degree F and the humidity 40 - 65%

Also ribbon cables are somewhat fragile so plugging and unplugging daily will wear them out.
If you want to flush daily the safest way would be cleaning cartridges and run head cleans
